Come and join the artist, Jon Adams in a unique fleeting 'public art' premier. An open challenge to the public to become the artist and to create a field of 5,000 'book page flags', marking and celebrating the 'boundary between the land and the sea' and the 'cultural Olympiad'.   Anyone can join in and be part of the intervention, to make, plant and play - you can even bring your old favorite 'paperback' book, dis-articulate and transform its pages adding them into the 'flag field' on the beach. A slide show documenting the artists, event and final intervention will be shown on the BBC bigscreens later in 2010.     In partnership with KCB, Portsmouth University and the Creative Campus Initiative.
